Capability

Having options is not the same as being able to use them.

A choice can exist on paper and remain unusable in practice. It may require cash that cannot be tied up, attention that is already spent, emotional room that is not available, or administrative effort that cannot be carried right now.

DeepMoney Thinking uses capability for this distinction between objective availability and practical usability. It is an organizing term developed here, not established academic terminology. Its purpose is to stop a list of options from being mistaken for a set of live choices.
